Aquarama

Pietro, originally a fisherman, founded the shipyard in 1842 in Sarnico, on Lake Iseo, in Italy. At its inception, the shipyard focused on repairing ships, building a reputation for high quality workmanship. Soon it turned to full-scale boat building.

best-known model is the Aquarama, which was produced from 1962 and was in production unchanged until 1996. 769 examples of the Aquarama were built.

Made almost entirely of varnished mahogany, this motorboat is 8.02 meters long. The name "Aquarama" is derived from the, then popular, widescreen Cinerama screens in American cinemas. The Aquarama's convex, wide window also hints at that. The Aquarama had access to 2 engines, each of which produced 185 hp and provided a top speed of 74 km/h (74 mph).

Due to the popularity of the Aquarama, several special versions of it were made, this version is colored blue/white. A wonderful item to display in your office living or working room.
