The armillary was invented by Eratosthenes in 255 B.C. The name of this instrument comes from the Latin, armilla, meaning bracelet. The armilla was designed as an instrument to determine position or time.
This beautiful armillary is made of brass & aluminum and has an antique brown finish, with the height of 37 cm easy to place in a living room, study, office or reception room.
